Sycamore Woods needs our help so we are preparing a Work Party for October 30th, 2021 starting at 9:00 am.
If you are not busy and have always desired to lend us a helping hand here is your chance. We will be doing some planting/transplanting within the woods and pruning along its trails.
Sycamore Woods is a gem that needs our help to continue to grow in its biodiversity. This would be a great opportunity to help out while having your chance to personally view this piece of paradise.
Due to Covid protocols, we must maintain a small work group therefore we are looking for 10-12 interested people. In view of the fact that work is outside, there will be no need to check vaccine passports however all other Covid protocols (social distancing, sanitizing etc) must be adhered to.
We ask all participants to bring a tool or two to help with this venture. The tools require would be garden loppers, sheers and pruners for working on the trails and small spades for planting and transplanting as well as gloves. Should you have spare tools and don’t mind sharing please feel free to bring them.
