Hello.
This fall, Ontario Nature is hosting a two weekend Planting Event at Sydenham Nature Reserve. They are planning on planting up to 750 trees and shrubs, including tulip trees, Kentucky coffee trees and spicebush. What a great opportunity to give nature a helping hand and learn more about the reserve and it’s habitat restoration project from Ontario Nature’s expert biologists.
If you would like to be part of this historical restoration work, then join the fun by registering today. This will be an amazing experience for the whole family and your friends. You can join us for the morning, afternoon, or all day. It is a chance to leave a positive and productive foot print in nature, one that will enhance our native biodiversity for years to come and for our future generations to enjoy.
Please note: You will need to bring a refillable bottle, wear long pants and closed toe shoes and if possible try to bring your own gloves and trowels or shovels. If you are planning on staying the day, please bring your own lunch. Ontario Nature will provide snacks but please bring your own lunch. Portable washroom facilities will be on-site.
